Abstract

The University of Maryland Master’s of Professional Studies in Industrial Organizational Psychology provides rigorous training in the scientific principles and methods in IO Psychology while also increasing graduates’ capacity to influence the way work is done, to apply evidence-based best practices, and to ask and answer questions that matter in the workplace. Students take 10 courses (two per term) over the course of 15 months. Courses are taught in the evenings at the College Park campus and through pre-recorded online lectures. This program is designed for working professionals who desire advanced knowledge in industrial and organizational psychology to enter, advance, or expand their career options.
