Business Administration and Medicine, Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Medicine (dual degree) (M.B.A. and M.D.)

The dual degree requires 42 credits of Business courses. The remaining coursework is completed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The total combined credits will be 202 credits, 42 from the Smith School of Business and 160 from the School of Medicine.

The combined program takes advantage of the Smith School of Business core courses while adding some the School of Medicine course requirements as an area of specialization. In this program the students would have the opportunity to take Smith School of Business or the School of Medicine courses at standard costs, specific to each college, to further establish an area of specialization and to satisfy the credit requirements for both the MBA and MD degrees.
