Public Management (Executive) (online) (EMPM)
Graduate Degree Program
College: Public Policy
ABSTRACT
The Master of Public Management, Executive Track Online (EMPM Online) is a 10-course (30-credit) program that provides education for students pursuing a career in public service. The program grows students’ understanding of the financial, managerial, and ethical dimensions of leading government and public service organizations. Students learn various leadership and management approaches, in theory, and in practice, and develop analytic and critical thinking skills that allow them to better serve the public while advancing their careers. This is an accelerated degree designed for professionals with at least five years of policy or management-related experience. Stepping well beyond traditional pre-career public policy programs, the EMPM Online program empowers those already leading and managing in organizations to be effective, responsible, and impactful leaders of change.
