ABSTRACT

The Federal Government buys hundreds of billions of dollars in goods and services annually. This has created an ever-increasing demand for qualified acquisitions experts to support and supervise these varied and complex purchases. Leaders and managers who can deliver better acquisition outcomes in support of military operations, homeland security, health care, disaster response, and a host of other areas are constantly sought out and hired by the Federal Government and contractors. This requires education, expertise, and skill. The four-course (12-credit) online Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Finance and Acquisition helps students acquire these essential tools and understandings and assists them in taking the next step in their careers.
