ABSTRACT
The Certificate in Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics is designed to provide advanced training in quantitative methods for graduate students majoring in other doctoral programs. The certificate requires a minimum of 21 graduate credit hours. In addition, an advisor must be selected from members of the Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics faculty.
Note: To enroll in this Certificate program you must currently be a doctoral student in a University of Maryland program other than EDMS

The Department maintains computer equipment and high performance server with up-to-date statistical software packages. The faculty are actively engaged in a large variety of basic and applied research projects and students are encouraged to become involved in these activities. The Washington and Baltimore areas have numerous organizations that provide opportunities to become involved in projects that have national importance.
